A Family Tradition

In keeping with family tradition, I use amethyst, Chinese Jade, malachite, and other gemstones underneath the massage table for their energetic properties. I also use a jojoba oil infuser with the essential oils of clove, cassia, myrrh, and cedarwood to create a very warm, safe, familiar and relaxing environment. My mom is an excellent third-degree Reiki practitioner and self-taught massage therapist. She often got me on the table growing up. As a kid, I saw her as across between Caroline Ingalls from Little House on the Prairie and Samantha from Bewitched. It bummed me out to no end that I couldn't twitch my nose like Tabitha. During the healing sessions, she would often intuit messages from my angels or share astrological epiphanies about the asteroids or trines in my natal chart. After a two-hour energy healing/massage I did last night for a client, my six-year-old insisted on having one this morning. I love my snuggly baby boy. He'll always be my baby, even when his toes reach the end of this table.
