Morgan Le Fay Tarot

Morgan Le Fay is a powerful sorceress in the Arthurian legend who is believed by some historians to be a hybrid of the Morgans (Welsh water nymphs), Welsh goddess Modron and the triple goddesses The Morrigan. In early writings she was depicted as a healer, and not at odds with her half-brother King Arthur and Queen Guinevere. The Morrigan are the goddesses of battle, strife and sovereignty. Interestingly, both Morgan Le Fay and The Morrigan are associated with Crow. Crow is a shape shifter and a messenger. He represents sacred law and change. His medicine includes using seeking the truth, adapting, surrendering to divine timing and Justice.

Here my model is gifted doula and talented belly dancer Hannah J. Rudy. Some of these say "Goddess Tarot", don't they?

"I have slain the demon with my eyes closed in ballet class, this is just reminiscing."
"Life is a circus."
"I am bound, but not broken."
"The mood swing is not my best weapon."

Recently I channeled for a client some very personal words of wisdom from a spirit muse calling herself Nina Simone. She had a lot of relevant things to say to my client. Apparently, not only did Nina Simone's music reach out and touch my client, but so did Nina. IT seems that on the other side of the veil, Nina is guiding and visiting one of her most fervent listeners and most passionate appreciators. There seems to be a synergy that happens metaphysically with active listening. My advice? Let your muses guide you.

"Allow people to be inspired by you. Do not hold back on the magic you give for fear of how it will be received."

Could music be a portal which brings its listeners to shared vibrational dimensions? Is it a transmission from the universe via human conduits which reaches out to people, simultaneously connecting them with each other and with the true metaphysical source of the vibrations? Does the music that people compose contain hidden messages from the universe? Perhaps some is translatable and some has great meaning but we lack words or understanding to translate it?
"Ahhhh...music to my ears."
"Life is delicious."

Goddess Blodeuwedd from the Depths of Sanctifying Self-Determination

From my Goddess series...I really enjoyed my shoot with model Ruby.

Let me introduce you to Ruby The God-Send Anastasio...angel doula woven of the cloth of angels, descended upon the earth to transport women into the dimension of birth painlessly, easily, lovingly. She holds space for your inner wisdom to be fully engaged, and for you to be your most authentic and self-realized during the birth and as you emerge into the cocoon of new motherdom. It's only befitting that she summoned the Welsh Goddess Blodeuwedd to emerge from her ancient roots within the earth.

Cape Cod's Put a Spell on Me

Got up to channel for clients before sunrise. Had a few laughs with some angels. Went on a bike ride with the family. Went crazy at the fabric and arts and crafts stores. Painted the owl mask for Goddess Blodeuwedd (pronounced Bluh-DIE-weth (as in weather) in Inca gold and Roman warrior bronze. Made my son some manly jewelry with a Celtic knot and made jewelry for my Goddess. Ate salad, nuts and avocados all day. Rode our bikes to the beach at sunset and took a warm dip in the ocean. Found an adorable frog of some nobility no doubt in the road, and he let me touch him. Ate french toast with organic sour cream, raw coconut oil and maple syrup for dinner. Hero was especially smitten with the late meal. Watched fireflies over the pond from our sun room with the lights out and the trade winds blowing. Cape Cod is the best of Venice Beach, the Malibu hills and Hawaii all rolled in to one. Now, to make the headdress from oak flower catkins.

And for tomorrow? A Goddess photo shoot, canoeing in our backyard, swimming down the road, biking through the graveyards, and more receiving messages from my clients angels. Happy. Thank you. More please.

Lady of Shallot

The Lady of Shallot has been one of my favorite songs since childhood. My mother read me this immortal poem by Alfred Lord Tennyson ever since I was but a wee lass. We were exuberant when Loreena McKinnet recorded this poem. Later, when she recorded Alfred Noyes' epic poem The Highwayman we wept at the sea with joy like two sentimental mermaids for a few weeks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0rVNQw1DQM

Tonight, I worked on an owl mask for Welsh Goddess Blodeuwedd who was made from flowers and shape-shifted into an owl to do her magic. In the Christianized myth, was created by two magicians from flowers to make a suitable wife for God Lleu.

Following a very busy week of angel readings...the house has been a hotbed of paranormal activity...I will be photographing Morgan La Faye, the powerful sorceress of Arthurian legend, who was predated by the Morrigan (the Goddess of battle, strife, and sovereignty), upon who the sorceress was based. Another Arthurian sorceress was Lady of the Lake who seduced Merlin, gave Arthur his sword Excalibur, and raised Lancelot. Is it possible that Ophelia from Shakespeare's Hamlet, from the very earliest part of the seventeenth century, who was believed by Hamlet's mother Gertrude to have slipped into a river by accident and by grave diggers to have committed suicide, was meant to evoke either Morrigan, Morgan La Fay or Lady of the Lake, or a composite of both, acting as a recognizable prototype for his female lead who lovelorn, replete with strife, and melancholy.

Or more probably is the Lady of Shallot, a Victorian literary work of Alfred Lord Tennyson who was based on Elaine of Astolat, reviving Ophelia? Elaine was another Arthurian woman who who had fallen hopelessly in love with Lancelot to whom he was indifferent, after which she dies of heartbreak in a boat and floats down a river to Camelot to the shore of King Arthur's court? Interesting, Ophelia and Hamlet are believed by some analysis to be lovers. When she picks flowers, the ones she say she will keep for herself are rue, which has been used to induce micarriage dating back to the Middle Ages. Perhaps, the following line about rue helping to be in God's grace on Sundays, refers to the power of the herb to alleviate any evidence of impropriety. Perhaps a motivation for taking her own life, after she feels she has been rebuked by a increasingly insane Hamlet.

Red Hibiscus Tea Time

This morning in my garden I found this delightful full moon hibiscus tea from the Goddess Kupula. Hibiscus tea tastes tart like raspberries and cranberries together. A little honey is all your taste buds need to delight in this lovely beverage. Hibiscus used regularly helps people to lose weight, by halting the conversion of carbohydrates to fat, lowers blood pressure, helps to reduce cholesterol, and is a mild laxative, and high in antioxidants.

Charge your tea with carnelians for a psychic boost in the summer sun before drinking. Carnelians have the power to imbue concentration, overcome fear, and promote creativity. Carnelian dispels negative energy, helps one center, feel self-confident, and to take the steps one needs to create results and achieve goals.

Goddess Kupula

This is Kupula, the Slavic mother goddess of healing plants, with model Eva a lovely mommy who aspires to live her life in harmony with Mother Nature. (copyright Pandora Peoples 2012)

I bought the dress second hand. Attempting to tailor it along with creating a Medieval hat over night with no idea of my model's measurements. Who wants to ask a pregnant mum to measure herself right before she goes into labor? The conical hat came off, the dress could have used some work. Live and learn.
