Morgan Le Fay is a powerful sorceress in the Arthurian legend who is believed by some historians to be a hybrid of the Morgans (Welsh water nymphs), Welsh goddess Modron and the triple goddesses The Morrigan. In early writings she was depicted as a healer, and not at odds with her half-brother King Arthur and Queen Guinevere. The Morrigan are the goddesses of battle, strife and sovereignty. Interestingly, both Morgan Le Fay and The Morrigan are associated with Crow. Crow is a shape shifter and a messenger. He represents sacred law and change. His medicine includes using seeking the truth, adapting, surrendering to divine timing and Justice.
Here my model is gifted doula and talented belly dancer Hannah J. Rudy. Some of these say "Goddess Tarot", don't they?
"I have slain the demon with my eyes closed in ballet class, this is just reminiscing." "Life is a circus."
"I am bound, but not broken." "The mood swing is not my best weapon."
Recently I channeled for a client some very personal words of wisdom from a spirit muse calling herself Nina Simone. She had a lot of relevant things to say to my client. Apparently, not only did Nina Simone's music reach out and touch my client, but so did Nina. IT seems that on the other side of the veil, Nina is guiding and visiting one of her most fervent listeners and most passionate appreciators. There seems to be a synergy that happens metaphysically with active listening. My advice? Let your muses guide you.
"Allow people to be inspired by you. Do not hold back on the magic you give for fear of how it will be received."
Could music be a portal which brings its listeners to shared vibrational dimensions? Is it a transmission from the universe via human conduits which reaches out to people, simultaneously connecting them with each other and with the true metaphysical source of the vibrations? Does the music that people compose contain hidden messages from the universe? Perhaps some is translatable and some has great meaning but we lack words or understanding to translate it? "Ahhhh...music to my ears." "Life is delicious."
Morgan Le Fay? With the boat she seems more like the Lady of Shallot.
ReplyDeleteYou got me, baby. I was listening to the Loreena McKinnet's Lady of Shallot every day for a week before we shot these. I think there is a little Morgan Le Fay in the Lady of Shallot. Shoot number two will be IN the water. We didn't get to the water photos yet, as it was getting late.
ReplyDeleteMy plan is to do series on fairytales and people from literature, as well as a series on lovers (of all ages...bikers, punk rockers, hipsters, hippies, fishermen, dune-billies...)
